Parent Expectations
Be a Positive Role Model
Your behavior reflects on your child and the club. Lead with courtesy, integrity, and respect.
Support Without Coaching
Let coaches coach. Keep sideline comments positive and avoid confrontations or criticism.
Respect Coaches and Referees
Support coaching decisions and referee calls. Refrain from negative remarks, especially in front of your child.
Communicate Constructively
Encourage your child to approach the coach with concerns. If needed, follow the 24-Hour Rule before reaching out yourself.
Be Dependable
Ensure timely drop-off and pickup, and help your child arrive prepared for every event.
Understand Playing Time
Playing time is earned based on effort, attitude, and performance. It is not guaranteed. Coaches will strive for 50% playing time each half for U8–U12 players who meet expectations.
Follow the Rules
Abide by the FIFA Laws of the Game and all SLYSA, MYSA, and tournament regulations.
Support the Club Community
Participate in club events and respect that watching your child play is a privilege, not a right.
